This isn’t just a photoshoot; it’s an experience designed to celebrate the wisdom, resilience, and unique beauty that only comes with time. Many women spend their lives behind the camera or taking care of others. The 40 Over 40 Project is about stepping into the spotlight. Whether you resonate with my signature creative style or prefer a classic, empowering portrait, this session is tailored to tell your story.
As a photographer in Marion County, I’ve noticed that women often shy away from the camera as they get older. The 40 Over 40 Project is my way of changing that narrative. Whether we are shooting in a lush Ocala park or in a controlled studio setting, my goal is to capture the authenticity that only comes with a life well-lived. This series is an open invitation to every woman who is ready to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
Meet the Women of this Ocala Photography Project
Each of these women came into the project with a different story; some were celebrating a milestone, others a new chapter in life. But they all left feeling empowered. This is the heart of what I do as a creative Ocala Photographer.
One of the most rewarding parts of being an Ocala photographer is hearing the stories behind the faces. During our sessions, we talk about life, challenges, and the beauty of this current chapter. My ’40 Over 40′ participants have taught me that confidence isn’t about perfection; it’s about owning your space. Whether we are styling a bold, dark-themed creative shoot or a soft, natural-light portrait, the goal is always the same: to show you how the rest of the world sees you, stunning and capable.
This project is more than a gallery; it’s a publication. At the conclusion of the series, I will be self-publishing a Special Edition 40 Over 40 Magazine. This is your chance to shine and tell your story which is special and unique to you and your life and everything that has shaped you to be the person you are today. It is a fantastic way to be celebrated for being who you are and Liz Uniques Photography is here to honor that!

Do I need to be a professional model? “Not at all! Most of the women I photograph in Marion County have never been in front of a professional camera. I will guide you through every pose and expression.”
What should I wear for my Ocala photoshoot? “We will have a style consultation before your session. Whether you want to embrace my creative style or go with a timeless elegant look, we will plan every detail together.”
Where do the sessions take place? “I offer sessions at various outdoor locations throughout Ocala, FL, as well as in your home or office depending on the vibe of your specific project.”
Investment: 1 hero image and 2-4 supporting images delivered in an online gallery, feature in a “Print” publication there entitled: 40 Over 40 along with their story written in a narrative format. 1 free digital tear sheet. $99.00
