This session was forged as an alchemy of the elements, a deliberate departure from traditional portraiture into the realm of atmospheric myth. Bending Light Through Specialized Optics
To evoke a world where magic bleeds into reality, I stepped away from standard glass entirely. Using an array of specialized and experimental lenses, we manipulated light directly in-camera to mirror elemental magic:
Prismatic Distortion: Bending ambient light across the optics created ethereal halos and atmospheric haze, giving the air itself a thick, magical density without artificial post-processing.
Swirl Lens Dynamics: By pairing deliberate movement with a specialized swirl lens, the background draws into a hypnotic, circular vortex around the subject—evoking lingering spirits, temporal magic, and raw, untamed energy moving through the frame.

Beyond the shifting mist lies the art of scrying: using reflective optics and focal spheres to peer into unseen dimensions.
