Post Apocalyptic PhotoShoot

This was a concept I’ve been wanting to make come alive for some time now. After scouting for the perfect location I found one. The Marjorie Harris Cross Florida Barge Canal also known as the Ship Canal or The Island located in Ocala, Florida. This place features abandoned pillars once a pipe dream to hold the bridge after plans to cut the peninsula in half. The trail is a small snippet of the larger-scale abandoned project and is only a mile long situated in the middle of a major 4-lane highway. After scouting the area it was time to find models for this event! Below are the final results!

The Rugged Young Man

A True Female Warrior

The Aged Survive Too

A Formidable Soilder

Just Trying to Survive

Surviving Together

There are a total of 4 abandoned highway pillars at this particular location. Here are 2 of them!

Overall, it was a very fun day. 8 models came out and had an amazing experience. With all of my group event photography concepts, I also try to incorporate some kind of history lesson or adventure. It’s not all work but an experience!
